Laura is a Doctor of Pharmacy, CrossFit Level 1 & 2 trainer, CrossFit Mobility certified and CPR/AED certified. Laura started CrossFit after becoming frustrated with some of the at home routines out there.
After trying out several programs that promised “Get ripped in no time” or “Shred fat now”; Laura became bored and turned to using a more comprehensive method of training. She now realizes how rewarding and exciting it can be to train with a barbell and other strength implements. Laura has learned the important difference between getting ‘ripped’ and being functionally strong and fit. By using training methods that CrossFit Down Valley employs, she has increased her athletic capabilities and loves being challenged everyday by the sport .
Training with CrossFit has allowed Laura to see herself as an athlete for the first time. Laura is excited to share her knowledge and experiences with the Down Valley community.
