Rob is a level 1 CrossFit Trainer and has been involved in organized sports and fitness since a young age. Growing up in Louisville, CO gave him the opportunity to play many sports including Hockey, Lacrosse, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, and Mountain Biking.
At the age of 18, Rob joined the U.S. Marine Corps and earned a degree from CU Boulder in the process. Following graduation, he returned to active duty as a Combat Engineer Officer and deployed to Helmand Province, Afghanistan where he discovered the true value of fitness. Rob returned seeking a new way to train the human body to prepare for the rigors of combat operations and found it through “functional fitness.”
Rob believes to be a strong, fast, agile, and a generally well rounded athlete, we must train our bodies throughout the whole spectrum of fitness.
At CrossFit Down Valley, Rob will help you achieve your fitness goals, whether you hope to compete in a weight lifting competition, complete your first 10k, or have legs of steel for the next great Colorado ski season.
